UAE Designer Exhibition 2025

Syrian designer Ahmad Kattan presents the Morphcode Collection, a limited-edition series of sculptural furniture that distills fundamental geometry into pure, experiential form. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UAE, the collection explores the intersection of mathematical clarity, material integrity, and spatial presence, transforming furniture into sculptural interventions that redefine interior spaces.

Emirati designer Aisha Alyassi presents Muntaha, a sculptural bench that transforms life’s highs and lows into a harmonious expression of balance. Its undulating form captures the rhythm of challenges and triumphs, serving as a reminder that both are integral to our personal evolution.

Canadian-Lebanese designer Chafic Mekawi presents Dar Frame, a reimagining of the traditional art frame as a living, expressive object. For centuries, art has reflected identity and memory, yet the frame has remained static and overlooked. Dar Frame challenges this convention, transforming the frame from a boundary into an extension of the artwork itself.

Palestinian-Canadian and Saudi Arabian designers Mohammed El Shehry and Huda Al-Aithan presents their lamp collection, a debut collection from the Dubai-based design studio founded by El Shehry. Rooted in his family’s long-standing expertise with acrylics, the brand fuses material mastery with contemporary design to craft bespoke lighting, furniture, and objects.The collection explores the concept of home through a series of sculptural lamps built using the sliceform technique - an interlocking acrylic construction that gives rise to fluid, architectural forms.

Emirati designer Majid Al Bastaki presents BO NAKH-LA, a coffee table that carries the warmth and stories of 1980s UAE neighborhoods into contemporary interiors. Inspired by the steel doors of that era, the piece continues the spirit of the Al Bawaba Series, where lines, colors, and illustrations become storytellers, evoking memories of community, hospitality, and home.

Lebanese designer Nourhan Rahhal presents the Mille Feuille collection, inspired by the delicate French dessert known for its many thin layers that balance structure, lightness, and indulgence. Translating this concept into furniture, the collection explores layering in both material and meaning, creating pieces that are playful, refined, and deeply evocative.

One Third Studio presents Wasl, a multifunctional shelf that embodies the essence of connection between people, materials, and ideas. At once a seat, table, and storage unit, it celebrates adaptability and harmony in form and function. Through the integration of khoos marquetry with contemporary design, Wasl becomes a dialogue between tradition and innovation, weaving the tactile language of heritage into a modern expression.

Palestinian-Jordanian designer Dania Najee presents Al Shasha, a coffee table that pays tribute to the UAE’s maritime heritage and the artistry of traditional boat-making. Inspired by the vessels that once carried fishermen and pearl divers, the lifeblood of the nation before the discovery of oil, the piece captures the spirit of resilience, craftsmanship, and connection to the sea.

Emirati designer Alia Ghubash presents SELAH, a candle that embodies the sensory language of identity - where craftsmanship, memory, and design intertwine. Its unglazed terracotta vessel, etched with geometric patterns inspired by traditional lattice screens, reimagines how light and culture filter into the home. The tactile surface and earthen tones evoke the warmth of the desert, grounding the piece in place and tradition.

Indian designer Hardik Gandhi presents Around, a furniture collection celebrating the timeless purity of the circle.Rooted in over two decades of global design experience, the collection reflects Gandhi’s signature approach where refined aesthetics meet purposeful function.

Designers Hala Alkhrishi, Hala Naser, Amira Hisham, Marim Sorbi, Tania Ursomarzo, and Iman Ibrahim (Egyptian) present Nazz Wa Milh, a modular wall system inspired by the resilient sabkha landscapes of the UAE. Drawing from the natural cycles of water, evaporation, and salt deposition, the design translates environmental processes into a living architectural form. Each 3D-printed hexagonal module directs and stores saltwater, allowing crystallization to leave traces of time and transformation while supporting native halophytes, integrating growth and ecology into the built environment.

Jordanian designer Lena Kassicieh presents Soft Landing in a Hard Place, a multidisciplinary collection that introduces moments of softness and warmth into structured environments. Building on the organic forms of her ceramic practice, the collection translates flowing, hand-formed shapes across wall hooks, textiles, and furniture, transforming functional objects into subtle, sculptural experiences.

Lebanese designer Ranim Halaky presents Sitr [Paravan], a freestanding room divider that bridges memory, architecture, and poetics. Composed of four vertical panels, the piece forms a quiet threshold between interior and exterior, past and present, weaving together function and narrative in a tactile, living object.

Emirati designer Reem Albustani presents Algadeer Lighting, a piece inspired by the intricate patterns of Ain Al Ghadeer. Drawing from its delicate, horizontal motifs composed of thin lines and precise forms, the design translates traditional pattern-making into a contemporary lighting object.

Emirati designer Roudha Alshamsi presents Athar, a glass luminaire inspired by the fleeting scripts the wind writes across desert dunes. Translating layers of moving sand into hand-formed glass, the piece captures traces of motion just long enough for light to reveal them, creating a delicate interplay between form, memory, and environment.

Palestinian-Jordanian and Emirati designers Mohammed Samara and Khaled Al Shaer present Moza, a contemporary lounge chair that reinterprets Emirati craftsmanship through modern form. Its low backrest and inviting silhouette offer a retreat within the frame, combining warmth, elegance, and structural integrity.

Emirati designer Shaikha Alteneiji presents the Al Makabah set, a luxurious series of hospitality boxes that fuses Emirati heritage with contemporary elegance. Inspired by the traditional Majba (a cone-shaped cover crafted from palm fronds to preserve food) the design celebrates cultural memory while reinterpreting it for modern living.

Polish designer Klaudia Domaradzka presents Ampa x Lume, a signature piece from the Ampla Collection that reimagines the elegance of 1920s pendant lamps. Exploring both the form itself and the space within and around it. The piece is bridging the line between a vase and a piece of furniture. Holding space for personal treasures. Both functional and sculptural.

Lebanese designer Zein Hageali presents Tawlitna, a reinterpretation of the traditional Syrian table through modular design and modern construction. Comprising four variations, each with six legs and a tabletop joined using knock-down (KD) joinery, the piece celebrates cultural heritage while introducing adaptability, durability, and sustainability.
