Shaikha Alteneiji

Emirati designer Shaikha Alteneiji presents the Al Makabah set, a luxurious series of hospitality boxes that fuses Emirati heritage with contemporary elegance. Inspired by the traditional Majba (a cone-shaped cover crafted from palm fronds to preserve food) the design celebrates cultural memory while reinterpreting it for modern living.

Each handcrafted box features a camel leather bowl and cover, adorned with patterns drawn from Saffafa weaving and Mandoos pins. Perfect for serving dates, sweets, or fruits, these pieces also function as decorative objects, offering a subtle, refined touch of heritage and craftsmanship to the table or home.
