read moreDowntown Design is the commercial centerpiece of Dubai Design Week, the region’s most important creative festival reflecting Dubai’s position as the design capital of the Middle East with a programme of wide-ranging design-related events which brought together thought leaders and decision makers of the global design stage and attracts over 100,000 visitors to Dubai Design District (d3) across the week.
The 2022 edition of Downtown Design presented the latest in contemporary design to the region in its most elevated showcase to date, with an emphasis on commercial opportunity and access to the most relevant audiences in the region. In dedicated sections across specific industry sectors, decision-makers in the region’s industry explored high-end products and innovative solutions for the home, workplace and hospitality sectors, from over 200+ renowned brands, studios and individual designers from around the world.
The 2022 fair featured showcases of rising talent, creative pop-ups and immersive installations alongside collateral programmes catering to each relevant audience; from international A&ID professionals to local homeowners and design enthusiasts, looking to discover, buy or commission. The week was complemented with talks, panel discussions, masterclasses, networking events and creative experiences.
