Casa Milano returned to Downtown Design with the third season of its design challenge, Talking Walls. As in previous years, each team was given a 12 sqm space to turn concept into creation.
Drawing from a curated selection of products from the Casa Milano portfolio, the designers developed immersive bathroom concepts that challenge both creative conventions and material limits.
With just four weeks to bring their vision to life, teams worked closely with senior mentors through an intensive design process – culminating in full-scale reveals at Downtown Design.
This season, six design studios based in the UAE challenged the conventions of bathroom design, each interpreting a mystery word in their own way.
KCA International was awarded both the Most Sustainable Project Award and the title of Talking Walls Season 3 Design Challenge Winner. Mimar Interiors received Best Presentation, Cherwell Interiors was recognised with Best Executed Stand, and the Team’s Choice Award went to MMAC Design Associates.
