A kaleidoscopic gateway to Downtown Design connected visitors to their surrounding and each other.
A shiny portal that drew visitors into the fair, Mirror Meander, designed and executed by XBD Collective was emblematic of the community that exists around design; numerous individual units when arranged together composed an imposing and singular entity.
The installation was strong, yet fluid, vast, yet appearing to blend with its surroundings. XBD Collective worked with the region’s leading contractors; Walk Thru Contracting, Total Building Solutions, Leme Lighting and Secret Garden to realise their vision.
Specially commissioned for Downtown Design 2019, Mirror Meander was a statement of unity and collaboration.
