Pakistani designer Faiza Imtiaz is an interior designer whose work focuses on natural materials and crafting processes for furniture, objects, and spaces. Driven by curiosity and detail, she recently received an honorable mention at the SIT Design Award 2026 for her Split Stool.

The Split Stool embraces the natural splitting of wood during steam bending, turning a technical flaw into a defining feature. Its steam-bent legs support a veneer-pressed seat, overlapping to form an armrest that mirrors split wood layers.
