Exclusively launching at Downtown Design 2016, Swedish brand Kährs presents an exciting collection that explores new patterns.

With a modern take on the classic chevron pattern, Kährs has fashioned an eco-friendly parquet collection that elevates the design offering of any space. With four on-trend colours to select from the stunning design can be coordinated with corresponding flooring to border the edges of the pattern.

Made of a sustainable oak surface layer and a plywood core; Kährs Chevron’s engineered format makes the floor more stable and ideal for installation especially in the extreme Middle East climate.

As opposed to traditional chevron patterned parquet, which is glued down piece-by-piece, Kährs’ Chevron has a modern, plank format allowing for fast installation. The angled chevron pattern and ingenious ‘parallelogram’ short ends create the continuous V-shaped design, which is further emphasized by a beveled edge. All boards are brushed to create a tactile lived-in look, which is shown through the warm whites, weathered greys, classic brown and dark brown color tones and the lively oak graining.

Health and environmental friendly

Choosing wood floor from Kährs means making a smarter, greener choice. During the last century, their many inventions have transformed the production of wood floors globally. Throughout time, Kährs has continued to capture the beauty and expression of wood.  Combining its natural character with cutting edge innovation they produce the highest quality wood flooring.

Kährs wood floors are a softer and safer option than other flooring, such as tile or marble, more hypoallergenic than carpet and environmentally friendly. With so many harmful environmental pollutants in our day-to- day lives, from the foods we eat and our indoor environments, it is comforting knowing that a Kährs wood floor is completely natural, enabling people to breathe easy in their environments every day.
