Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), visited Downtown Design 2025, the region’s leading contemporary design fair, taking place as part of the 11th edition of Dubai Design Week in Dubai Design District (d3).
Welcoming the return of Downtown Design as a platform that champions creativity and collaboration across the design industry, Her Highness commended the fair’s ongoing role in supporting creative talent, fostering entrepreneurship, and further establishing Dubai as a global centre for design and innovation.

During her tour, Her Highness explored a number of exhibitors, key showcases and immersive environments at the fair. She also visited the UAE Designer Exhibition, supported by Dubai Culture and mentored by renowned designer Nada Debs, which spotlights emerging UAE-based talent and offers an important platform for designers at pivotal stages in their careers.
Her Highness’ visit reaffirms Downtown Design’s contribution to Dubai’s cultural and creative landscape, and its role in advancing the Emirate’s vision to empower the creative community, nurture global exchange, and drive sustainable growth within the creative economy.
