Lebanese designer Zein Hageali presents Tawlitna, a reinterpretation of the traditional Syrian table through modular design and modern construction. Comprising four variations, each with six legs and a tabletop joined using knock-down (KD) joinery, the piece celebrates cultural heritage while introducing adaptability, durability, and sustainability.

The KD joinery allows the tables to be easily assembled, disassembled, and customized, enabling users to mix and match components or store the pieces compactly. Tarabiza blends tradition with practical modern living, extending the life of the object while preserving the visual identity of Syrian craftsmanship, offering a versatile, enduring, and culturally resonant solution for contemporary interiors.
