Interiors from Spain, an initiative of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, has been a consistent presence at Downtown Design, presenting the breadth of Spanish creativity to the region’s design community. Interiors from Spain will return to Downtown Design this year with a new installation designed by Swiss Bureau Interior Design (SBID).
The new installation titled “Espejos” (Mirrors), the concept is inspired by reflection and the bold, ever-evolving spirit of Spanish design. The installation combines vibrant and surreal elements with rich textures to create a sensory experience that is both functional and engaging, while carefully balancing the individuality of each participating brand. This year’s will also showcase a diverse lineup of Spanish design companies: APE Grupo, iSiMAR, Lladró, LZF Lamps, Marset, Nanimarquina, Ogo Furniture, Oiside, Ondarreta, and Punt Mobles. Representing furniture, lighting, rugs, ceramics, and decorative accessories, the brands share a focus on craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and design innovation.
