Christiane Perrochon’s ceramics in stoneware and porcelain are fired at high temperatures and finished with glazes she has developed over many years of research.
Born in Geneva, she studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs before moving to Tuscany, where she works from a former medieval rectory in the hamlet of Castiglion Alberti. The adjoining chapel now serves as a showroom for her creations.
For over forty years, she has explored the possibilities of high-temperature glazes, achieving a range of rich colors and textures. Each hand-shaped piece carries its own character, balancing strength with delicacy and designed to sit comfortably in any space.
