• Be the guide for the hosted Trade/Connect participants for their full 2-day itinerary, accompanying them and closely monitor their attendance at the events planned for them
  • Coordinate with the Audience Programme Coordinator constantly during the 2 days to update activity/report who is absent/not turned up
  • Assist hosted participants onsite if help is required in way finding for meetings at the booths

The ideal candidate should be able to do the following:

  • Be willing to work outside of normal working hours (9am to 6pm) and days (Monday-Friday) during the project if necessary
  • Work and organise content proficiently using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of digital platforms such as Google docs, sheets and slides
  • The role requires a candidate who is dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working and organized
  • Professional demeanour and diplomatic approach
  • Excellent communication
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills 
  • Capacity for initiative, long-term planning and decision-making
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure, for long hours when necessary 
  • Ability to quickly integrate into a new environment and work within the given structure
  • Accurate and reliable work
  • Calm, well-mannered and always friendly
  • Excellent command of English and proficiency in Arabic is preferred
  • Relevant experience in assisting and working on large-scale events preferred
