DAMJ is a unique design/build company founded by architect Ahmad Khouja, and based in the Mar Mkhayel area of Beirut. The inspiration and concept for “DAMJ” comes from the integration of several trades, fabrication techniques, and design sensibilities.
DAMJ is a full service design + fabrication company that specializes in traditional woodworking as well as digital fabrication. For Downtown Design 2019 they featured their line of led-lighting elements made from cast plaster. In addition to home design elements (mirror, perforated partition and carved lighting fixtures) that were commissioned for clients in London, Damascus and Beirut, including the residence of the UK ambassador to Lebanon.
