Aljoud Lootah is a multidisciplinary designer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with work exploring the realms of product design and personalized corporate gifts.
As a product designer, she has been involved in projects that distinctly interprets the Emirati culture, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Along the way, Lootah continuously produces bespoke objects and collectible designs for government organisations as well as private companies, and has been involved in various retail and residential interior projects.
At the Downtown Design 2019, Aljoud presented a new iteration of her Mandoos collection. Inspired by the traditional Emirati dowry boxes, this hand-made and numbered limited-edition range featured diverse materials and techniques.
