Our interest in culture and Islamic art has given rise to SACD’s first furniture collection 'Shadows and Patterns’. This collection is inspired by the beauty and timelessness of Islamic geometric patterns. What unites the pieces is the evolution of patterns and materials from select objects of the resplendent Islamic Empires. 'Shadows and Patterns’ is a 21st century representation of ancient Islamic art forms, combining traditional elements with modern-day materials and aesthetics to create collectable masterpieces.
SACD is the winner of this year’s ‘International Design and Architecture Awards (2017)’ with nominations for The Aga Khan Architectural Award (2016) and The Audi Innovation Award (2017).
