Toyota Sideboard and Twist

xzpace - اكس سبيس Design Studio

Emirati design studio xzpace®, founded in Dubai in 2025 by Richa Madhu and Mohamed Oraby, creates furniture focused on material honesty, function, and connection to place. Operating their own production factory in Ras Al Khaimah, the team keeps fabrication, prototyping, and material processes in-house, reinterpreting familiar references through experiment-driven design.

Toyota and Twist explore how urban and cultural memories can be reinterpreted into physical forms. Toyota abstracts architectural landmarks to translate city-scale memories into furniture, while Twist uses AI tools and physical prototyping to evolve vintage pop-culture references into unexpected shapes. Together, both pieces examine how familiar references can transform while retaining their core identity.
