At Downtown Design 2025, Cosentino partners with Etereo to create '1930', a contemporary lounge experience, inspired by the charm of Art Deco speakeasies. Drawing from the geometric harmony of Piero Portaluppi, the sculptural sensibility of Carlo Scarpa, and the bold architectural gestures of Ettore Sottsass, '1930' celebrates a return to elegance through a sophisticated balance of geometry, materiality and historical inspiration.
 
The space includes a sculptural bar, piano lounge, game table, and salon, evoking the ambience of a time gone by. A hidden bathroom, partially visible through a small porthole, adds a cinematic sense of mystery. Cosentino’s materials, reimagined by Etereo through ornamental flooring, vertical applications, and bespoke furniture, will shape the experience by adding colour, texture, rhythm and emotional weight to the storytelling.
