Concept store, Caspaiou Design and Interiors makes its debut with Meridiani at Downtown Design 2017
Located conveniently on Sheikh Zayed Road and established in 2006, Caspaiou offers Design and Interior services as both retailers and as interior designers. The brand carefully selects unique and outstanding items from a wide range to offer its clientele. Always on the lookout for distinguished craftsmanship and products, the brand also continually aims to design all spaces in a balanced and subtle way to create an eclectic and personalized warm style.
Meridiani was born out of a simple yet passionate idea of Laura Ferraro Crosti: to design a home collection able to interpret classic themes with contemporary flair, products which can stand the test of time and convey a sophisticated yet relaxed elegance. Since its debut in the international markets in 2000, the brand has grown into a company that blends artisanal skills, technical know-how, deep knowledge of materials and manual processes to make up a curated 100% made in Italy furnishing collection.
Distinguished by precious metal accents; the pure shapes and bold lines take life in the form of lacquers, bronzed mirrors and marbles and wood. Shine is a series of storage units, small tables and consoles that prove as design objects with vintage citations. The diamond version of the Wolfang; the 6 door ranging unit, is characterized by beveled bronzed mirror for the doors and adds a touch of luxury to any space.
Easily distinguished because of its hexagonal shape, the “Sebastian” bookcase can be customized to bronze brass varnishing or glossy lacquer finishing.
Complementing the Shine collection, the Cole console exudes elegance with neat lines and an oval shape top.
Meridiani also brings the “Timothy” to this year’s fair. A modular sofa launched recently by the Italian brand, highlights the luxurious lifestyle. Completed with details of a saddle leather and bronzed brass varnish, the “Timothy” completes any space with a touch of luxury.
